The dates in files may need to be changed because I didn't make updates until after archiving. If you see any thing that needs to be added or corrected then leave a comment.

Hey Simon666

I apologize for any confusion the filename may have caused. i guess i should've changed it but i wasn't thinking. Legends of Acid Jazz-Charles Kynard has 11 tracks and track #1-6 were originally released as Afro-Disiac (Prestige 7796) and #7-11 as Wa-Tu-Wa-Zui (Prestige 10008) so that's where the strange filename comes from.

Hey Simon666 and SelfScience-

Just wanna let you know that You do already have all the albums that are released as his leader albums (for now). As far as I know, Easy = The Last Session. Also, just in case you didn't know, Gooden's Corner, Nigeria, Oleo are included in The Complete Quartets with Sonny Clark, Remembering = Standards, ect. So technically, pretoria's Easy was the last one.

@pretoria
You're blog is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Simon666 said...

Thanks Green -

I've fixed up the discography according to what you've said.

Are there any other "double ups" here?

Also, I've (gulp) done eighteen re-links because of the move to Wordpress by My Favourite Sound and Funky Disposition ....

So, complete leader discography!
Congrats to all who took part.

1972 - The Battle Parts I & II (BN 45-1972) is from the Final Comedown. It's a part of Blue Note 1900 series (7inch) and there are also I Want to Hold Your Hand/Corcovado (BN 45-1919), Ain't It Funky Now Parts I & II (BN 45-1960), Sookie Sookie/Time To Remember(BN 45-1965),Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?/Never Can Say Goodbye (BN 45-1969), Afro Party/Father's Lament (BN 45-1983). But I don't think you need to list them here since it's all included in the albums.

I cannot thank you enough Simon666. I'm just starting to realize what an important role you play in this community. You are definitely one of the hardest workers I know. My hats off to you sir, for your dedication!

Hey man love the site, I discovered Grant Green while listening to Madlib's Unseen album. Anyway, I really need a link to the full version of Grant Green's Alive album, the one with the 8 tracks as opposed to 4 which you have linked to a rapidshare link. It would be greatly appreciated if you could put this up. Ive downloaded over 200 albums in the past 12 months but Alive is the one I constantly listen to. Im almost sick of it Ive listened to it that much LOL.
